How points are calculated

LogFit® uses the Even Distribution method, widely used in fitness competitions.

The principle

For each WOD, the category ranking is converted into points. First place receives 100 points, and the gap between two places depends on how many teams compete in that category.

The larger the field, the smaller the gap: losing one place should not cost as much among 8 competitors as among 90.

Ties

Tied teams receive the same rank and the same number of points. The next rank accounts for the places already taken.

A ranking therefore reads 1, 2, 2, 4: there is no third place, because two teams already hold second.

Not every WOD carries the same weight

Organizers can weight a WOD, or even a single part of one. A WOD capped at 50 points counts half as much as a 100-point WOD in the overall standings.

Unfinished scores

When the time cap is reached, the score reads CAP +X, where X is the number of repetitions left. The fewer remaining, the better the ranking: a team at CAP +12 places ahead of a team at CAP +40.

If the tie remains, the tiebreak decides. It is the time recorded at a specific movement, chosen in advance by the organizer.
